Start creating your own unique set of family guidelines that provide structure and predictability for your household.

Offering education, support, and a sense of community, this class will provide a sounding board for the challenges faced by ADHD parents.

Eight weekly classes before the end of 2002 will get your guidelines on paper and your weekly family communication meetings off the ground.

The following four classes will serve to strengthen your confidence and ability in successful management of your household.

Learn how to:
  • Create healthy, loving and appropriate relationships with your children
  • Provide structure and consistency
  • Write your own unique set of family guidelines
  • Conduct successful weekly family meetings
  • Parent as a united front
  • Practice extreme self-care
  • Apply natural and logical consequences
  • Find support and maintain life lines

This 12-week course is geared to parents ready to make a lasting change!

Presenters:

Chris Lissard is a Registered Nurse, Holistic Nurse, Mediator, and ADHD Coach. Her personal challenge raising two ADHD children and dealing with her own ADD motivated her to create her first set of family guidelines. Since 1998 she has helped many families write and implement guidelines and weekly family communication meetings that have profoundly affected parent-child relationships.



John Carmody is a Registered Nurse (Australia), Forensic & Corrections Professional, Mediator, and ADHD Coach. John has 30 years of sobriety and 10 years of experience Coaching clients with ADHD and co-occurring conditions including substance abuse. He is a pioneer in assisting families to create age appropriate guidelines, giving parents confidence that their children will move into young adulthood having the knowledge, skills, and practice to function successfully on their own.

As a team they provide a supportive and safe practice ground where parents learn ways to create family relationships that are built on love and mutual respect.
